Merry Christmas!

December was so crazy!! We had a ballet performace and a Christmas play in one week. Haylee had her first dance perfomance and she did great. I was so proud of my little dancer. She was a Chinese dancer in the Nutcracker. Then the next night she and Payton were both in a Christmas play in my mom's ward. We also had a small car accident, the kids and I were driving and slid on some ice right into a pole. Nobody was hurt thank goodness and the car is fine also. We got to have Aaron home for the holidays, we are very grateful for that. He got home on Christmas Eve and has to leave us again on the first. The kids had a fantastic Christmas, the got a ton of clothes and some really cute new toys. Haylee's favorite was her new Barbie house full of furniture and a new doll. Pay's favorite is his Batmobile and I think McCoys fave was the wrapping paper. They got a basketball hoop that he likes very much. They had a fun Christmas and I am still cleaning up and figuring out where I am going to put all of our new stuff. To end the month we found out that we are going to welcome home a new brother in June. We all wanted a girl, but we are excited and feel very blessed that so far the baby looks very healthy and in good shape. We are doing well and we are looking forward to the new year. We're not excited for Aaron to be gone but we are trying to stay optimistic. I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas.

Fall

This fall has been great. It started with Aaron and I got to go through the temple. It was an amazing experience. When they brought the kids in to be sealed to us that is a feeling you can't describe, they looked so cute all in white. Haylee even got to keep the little hair bow that they used with her outfit. The kids are still talking about going to the temple and how cool it was. We are so excited to have our family be eternal, it really puts a whole new perspective on life. We also found out that we are expecting another baby this next Spring. I still am not too sure how I feel about that because Aaron will be on deployment, so we will see how things go.

October was crazy for us. Haylee was really sick and down for about 2 weeks. Aaron was home for about 5 days out of the month. He has been doing some active training with the Marines. He is working up for his 10-11 month deployment. He got all of last week off and is now gone until Thanksgiving. We love having him home and when we get him we do a lot of fun stuff together. He got to be home on Halloween night, it was fun to take the kids around. Haylee was a flapper girl from the 20's, Pay was Spiderman and McCoy was a lion. They all looked so cute adn they had a lot of fun going trick or treating. My family also does a haunted alley every year, so we enjoyed putting that on. We had over 1100 people show up for our entertainmnet. It is so much fun to scare the living day lights out of people, and we all do it together as a family. Even Payton was brave enough to go through and sacrifice himself to my cousins, but he loved it. My sister and her husband and daughter went through the temple this month too, it was alot of fun to go through with them.

Now it is November and we are getting excited for the holidays. We love THanksgiving and Christmas. Haylee is still enjoying ballet and I am now helping to teach her class so we are having a lot of fun together. We also got a piano and are looking forward to piano lessons. Our lives are crazy, but we are loving every minute of it.

School Days

School has started, as if any parent is unhappy about that. Payton loves pre-school he is doing really well. Haylee's first day was yesterday and I thought that she was pretty excited. When I dropped her off everything was fine. When I went to get her she wanted to ride the bus home so I let her, when she got off the bus she started to cry and told me that she is quiting school. She is only in kindergarten and she is ready to drop out. I hope that she start to like school as the year goes on. I think that the size of the school and the newness was too much for her. Oh well just a few deep breathes and everything will be okay. Well i hope everyone else had a good first week of school.

Gold Old Summer Time

I love summer, but I can't wait until school starts. The kids only have a couple more weeks and I am so excited to start school and get into a normal routine. We have had a crazy summer, and we still have one more earned trip to go on. Meaning the kids earn a fun family activity for doing their chores. I don't know what we will do yet. Haylee will also start ballet this month and I have scout camp to go to. Aaron is gone for a couple of weeks training with the Marines, he will be back on the 15th. I am not looking forward to fall because that will take him away again, and I can't handle being a single parent anymore. His year long deployment is going to be a nightmare. I shouldn't complain, I'm grateful for my kids and all the happiness they bring into my life, but it is not easy. Well not much else is going on I hope we get a little more exciting.

Happy Birthday McCoy!

Friday the 11th was McCoy's first birthday. Aaron had drill so we celebrated on Sunday. We made him spaghetti for dinner, his favorite, then we had everyone over for cake and ice cream. After cake we had a water balloon fight,we had too much fun. I can't believe we have already had him for a whole year. It has gone by way too fast. he was kind of afraid of Payton but now they are definitely brothers. They wrestle on the ground and chase each other around, it is so much fun watching them grow a relationship I hope that they will be best friends.

4th of July weekend

Boy oh boy did we have a weekend! We went camping on Thursday night, got up early and went down to breakfast at the Benson Gristmill, after that we went home and got all cleaned up and headed to the park. The park up in Tooele had some bouncy rooms and slides for the kids and food and some entertainment for the whole family. Then we spent the rest of the day with family. We had some good food and watched movies. We finished the night off with some fireworks and got home at about 11:30. On Saturday we took the kids to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. The kids thought that was really cool, it was all outside so it was hot. The kids still had a good time they got to play in the education center where we colored and made wooden dinosaurs. It was fun. That night we did more fireworks and got to bed late again. Our weekend was great, but I am looking forward to a slower week. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.

LAGOON

On Saturday we took the kids to Lagoon. they had a lot of fun they rode everything they could get on. We have some really cute pictures but I don't know how to post them yet. Aaron and I enjoyed watching the kids ride the rides and hearing them yell "hi mom", it was cute. Their favorite ride was the water tubes and the scrambler, the least favorite was the tidal wave. We got on the tidal wave and they cried as soon as it started moving, it was pretty sad. Aaron and I enjoyed the ride, but I don't think the kids will be asking to go on it again any time soon. They got their faces painted and got balloon animals, we played a couple of games and won, amazingly. They had a lot of fun, but I was glad to see the end of the day, we were tired after 8 hours of rides , games, and a lot of people. I hope our pictures will be on soon.
